Cremat offers fully-assembled shaping amplifier instruments, made from Cremat parts. This permits the user to buy a shaping amplifier instrument without the need to assemble or to solder together parts sold in a kit format. Cremat's new line of instruments are ready to be used "out of the box".

There are seven different completed instruments available, differing only in the model of shaping amplifier module used. For example, the CR-200-500ns-INST assembled shaping amplifier instrument uses the CR-200-500ns shaping amplifier module.  The seven completed instrument models available are the CR-200-100ns-INST, CR-200-250ns-INST, CR-200-500ns-INST, CR-200-1us-INST, CR-200-2us-INST, CR-200-4us-INST, and CR-200-8us-INST.

Each assembled instrument consists of a Cremat CR-200 series shaping amplifier module mounted on a CR-160 evaluation board, inside a CR-160-BOX housing. Connectors have been assembled onto the CR-150 board allowing for the user to connect the +/-12V power supply, as well as the input and output.

All Cremat's instruments have the same outer dimensions: 4.6 inches (width) x 3.6 inches (depth) x 2.2 inches (height). More information can be found in the specification sheet.

Specifications for the CR-200-XX-INST instruments

Use only with CSPs

The CR-150 evaluation board is intended for use only with Cremat's charge sensitive preamplifiers.

The CR-200 series of shaping amplifiers have their own evaluation board (CR-160) and should not be plugged into the CR-150.
