The CR-150 evaluation board
is intended for use with
any of Cremat's
charge sensitive preamplifiers (CSPs). The board uses an
‘AC-coupled’
design. The
CR-150 board comes with PCB-mountable BNC connectors and
Banana-style power connectors (the connectors come
unassembled to the board, allowing for flexibility in
their implementation).
The CR-150 (sized 3.7 inches x
2.3 inches)
includes a socket for the preamplifier, on-board supply voltage regulation,
diode protection of the input power polarity, a 'test
pulse input' connection, and circuitry to couple
together the detector, detector bias supply, and
preamplifier input. Preamplifier
modules are sold separately.
Cremat also
offers the
CR-150-BOX, which is a die-cast
aluminum housing intended for use with the CR-150
evaluation board. Using the CR-150-BOX makes shielding
the CR-150 board simple and easy.
